Mental Health Therapist & Drug and Alcohol Counselor
Leisa Rowe is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and has been in private practice for over fifteen years. Leisa completed her education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney pursuing both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees there. Prior to becoming a therapist, Leisa worked as a Supervision Officer for the Central Nebraska Drug Court as well as Child Protective Services.
She is working with adolescents and adults in individual and couples/family therapy. Areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, separation/divorce, addiction and recovery, codependency, drug and alcohol evaluations, trauma, work and career challenges, parenting, mood disorders, relationship issues, grief and loss, and other life changes and events.
Leisa has specialized training in working with individuals who have been through traumatic events such as accidents, natural disasters and physical and sexual abuse. Leisa also has specialized training as a qualified Substance Abuse Provider working with individuals and companies around issues that comply to federal DOT regulations regarding drug and alcohol concerns. Leisa has worked with both civil and private work environments doing presentations on drug testing and reasonable suspicion compliance and guidelines.
