Mental Health Therapist & Certified Sex Addiction Therapist - MS, LIMHP

I believe that each person who comes to my office is someone who has experienced pain, fear and often trauma. As a result of these experiences, flawed solutions are often adopted. These flawed solutions manifest as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and/or addictions. During the therapy process, each person will be treated with respect and dignity to help them make the necessary changes to meet their therapy goals. Creating a safe confidential space for risk is essential in the therapy process.

I have been in practice for over 30 years. Prior to opening my own private practice in 2000, I worked for Saint Francis Medical Center as the Program Director for the internal/external Employee Assistance Program. I had been an inpatient/out-patient addictions counselor prior to working in the Employee Assistance Field. Since I have been in private practice, I have helped individuals with depression, generalized anxiety disorders, grief and loss of a loved one, divorce, parenting and step-parenting issues.

Most recently, I became a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. CSAT is an intense training program developed by Dr. Patrick Carnes, a pioneer in the field of sexual addiction recovery. With over 30 years of experience, I look forward to helping individuals on their journey to peace and quality mental health.
